In this episode, Michal Ciffra and Josef Jelačič introduce FinTech Week CEE 2026, moderated by Ondřej Mikulčík. Three major conferences, ETH Prague, FinTechers Unbundled, and The FinTech Roadmap, are taking place in Prague within the same week, creating a unified platform for fintech, crypto, and digital finance across Central and Eastern Europe.

The ambition is to bring together the fintech ecosystem from the CEE region in one city and within a single, concentrated timeframe. Founders, investors, corporates, regulators, and technology leaders will have the opportunity to attend three interconnected events, meet strategic partners, and engage in discussions that shape the future of finance in the region.

Alongside the announcement of the initiative, we also discuss current developments in crypto markets, the state of venture capital in fintech, and emerging business models across Europe. At its core, however, this episode is a direct invitation to fintech professionals across Central and Eastern Europe to come to Prague and be part of a week designed to strengthen the region’s position on the global fintech stage.
